The luxury British fashion retailer Burberry has announced the appointment of Orna NíChionna as senior independent director with effect from April 2, 2022.
NíChionna, the company said in a release, has been an independent non-executive director of the business since January 2018 and is chair of the remuneration committee and a member of the nomination committee.

She is currently a senior independent director at Saga and previously held the same role at Royal Mail, HMV and Bupa.
The business also confirmed that Dame Carolyn McCall will retire as a non-executive director on April 2, 2022.
