The company is particularly focused on expanding its footprint in the beauty segment

New Delhi: Retail major Shopper’s Stop Ltd. has opened an outlet of SS Beauty, its beauty concept store, at Terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, a social media post by a company official stated.

“Journey into a realm of beauty and sophistication! Unveil the magic at our groundbreaking and one of the largest SS Beauty Store, situated in India’s most admired destination, Bangalore T2 Terminal. Elevate your beauty experience with a universe of premium and luxury beauty brands,” said Deepak Yadav, chief business development officer, Shoppers Stop in a LinkedIn post.

IndiaRetailing had earlier reported on how the Mumbai-based department store operator has been eyeing a particular space in Terminal 2 of the Bengaluru airport to open a flagship store of its SS Beauty. It also outbid some of corporate India’s heavyweights like Reliance Retail, Tata Group’s Tata Cliq and Nykaa to snap up the 1,300 sq. ft. retail space in June 2022.

Established in 1991, Shoppers Stop boasts a range of private brands, including Kashish for occasional wear, the Indian fusion brand Haute Curry, menswear by Fratini, and the casual label Life, among others.

With a presence in brick-and-mortar stores, Shoppers Stop has over 140 beauty stores featuring brands such as MAC, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Jo Malone, Too Faced, and SS Beauty.

The company is particularly focused on expanding its footprint in the beauty segment. As part of its strategy, Shoppers Stop plans to open 15-20 beauty doors, including SS Beauty and other mono brands, annually for the next few years.

Eagle Labs launches impirica CBD brand

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Eagle Labs has launched impirica, a new brand of CBD intended to eliminate consumer fear, and increase confidence, in trying the exciting new cannabidiol category. Michael Law Although most Americans have now heard about CBD, many are very confused and concerned about product quality. This is inhibiting trial in the category and holding back conversion into sales. In fact, a 2017 study by Johns Hopkins University found that two out of three CBD products on the shelf did not contain the amount of CBD reflected on the label. Furthermore, in 2018 and 2019, the FDA sent notices to a substantial number of CBD manufacturers advising them of serious concerns about product quality or egregious medical claims. The impirica brand looks different than most CBD brands — the brand name itself connotes testing and trust, says Eagle Labs chief commercial officer Michael Law. “It doesn’t use the traditional category colors of browns and greens, and you won’t find a hemp...

"Since opening our doors in 2017, we have pushed for the best guest-experience possible — that's why our dough is 100 percent naturally leavened, that's why we have a purpose-built 400-square-foot pick-up and delivery area, and that's why we’ve launched a direct-to-consumer subscription-based ecommerce platform,” said Founder & CEO Ali Khan Lalani. “In 2020, providing the best guest experience means General Assembly Pizza has to be more than a restaurant. I'm proud to say that after almost six months of planning, many roadblocks, and countless pivots — all while maintaining our day-to-day restaurant operatio...
