D2C luggage brand EUME raises Rs 25 cr in Series A funding round

The newly raised capital will support EUME’s plans to widen its retail footprint, bolster its team, amplify marketing initiatives, and strengthen working capital

Bengaluru: Premium travel luggage and accessories brand EUME has raised Rs 25 crore in a Series A equity funding round, with Ashish Kacholia leading the investment, the company said in a press release. The round also saw participation from existing seed investors Pradeep Rathod (Cello Group) and Prithviraj Kothari (Arvog Financial).

The newly raised capital will support EUME’s plans to widen its retail footprint, bolster its team, amplify marketing initiatives, and strengthen working capital as it continues to scale in the premium luggage segment.

“Our vision is to become India’s premier luggage brand — and for that, strong marketing is non-negotiable,” said Naina Parekh, Founder of EUME. “We will not compromise on brand appeal under any circumstances. At EUME, we aim to bring next-level product innovation rooted in convenience, without reinventing the wheel. Our focus is to pair that with striking, aspirational marketing that positions EUME as the go-to brand for every travel need across demographics.”

In line with its offline expansion strategy, EUME is gearing up to open three flagship stores over the next 45 days in Bengaluru (Mall of Asia), Mumbai (Oberoi Sky City), and Hyderabad (Sarath City).

“EUME’s sales channels are rapidly expanding. While we’ve seen robust growth online, our thoughtfully crafted price points are also well received in-person, and that’s where offline becomes key. We’re already present at select retail touchpoints and are actively scaling that footprint. Additionally, we’ve partnered with several companies as their official gifting partner, reinforcing EUME as a preferred choice in both B2C and B2B spaces,” said Pranay Parekh, Co-Founder of EUME.

The brand is also set to diversify its offerings with a strong focus on premiumisation, a growing trend in India’s travel and lifestyle landscape.

“EUME has consistently demonstrated not just bold vision but the ability to execute with precision and originality. My continued investment is a reflection of the deep conviction I have in the brand’s potential to redefine travel luggage for a new generation. Their mindset, quality, and design language is innovative and second to none — I believe EUME is a long-term winner in the making,” said Kacholia.

Furthermore, in 2018 and 2019, the FDA sent notices to a substantial number of CBD manufacturers advising them of serious concerns about product quality or egregious medical claims. The impirica brand looks different than most CBD brands — the brand name itself connotes testing and trust, says Eagle Labs chief commercial officer Michael Law. “It doesn’t use the traditional category colors of browns and greens, and you won’t find a hemp...
